MY BODY IS…READY?
Once Anime For Humanity has secured a booth at a convention, we get super excited!! Not only we get see our fellow staff, go to AYCE restaurants and have tons of fun at the con but also we get the rewarding experience of starting honest conversations about mental health and handout the Anime Therapy Kits.
Conventions are the heart and soul of what we do. The work doesn't stop at only the booth. While volunteers are handing out Anime Therapy kits and representing Anime For Humanity at the booth, the rest are attending mental health panels, networking with guests or creating content at the con.
Sometimes badges to a convention can be expensive or difficult to obtain. This means we need every person who volunteers with Anime For Humanity to be 100% dedicated during their shift.
The more you sound well-informed, knowledgeable representative of Anime For Humanity, the more likely you are to inspire someone to reach out for help and creating opportunities/collaborations.
Booth Guidelines
All volunteers are expected to help for three hours a day minimum.
